Trust is reliance upon the Divine for all sustenance and supply. A mental and emotional recognition and acceptance that the presence of the Divine as the ultimate good is all-powerful and everywhere present. Trusting God is knowing and believing that whatever difficult or negative circumstances we are currently dealing with, the Divine Power does not change at the core of its being. It remains all- powerful and everywhere present.

Trusting God to provide us with everything we need to live fully, peacefully and abundantly does not necessarily follow that our lives will run very smoothly at all times. We rely upon God for all our protection and guidance but it does not mean that our car will not get dented or scratched at the parking lot. It does not mean that we will not get sick anymore, or that we will not be harmed emotionally and physically, or that we will not face any problem anymore, or our boss will not yell at us when we make mistake or are unable to submit projects on due date. It doesn’t mean that we will not lose our loved ones one day or that we will not pass away. We are not putting our trust on people or on any events or circumstances. We are trusting that the Divine will manifest through them. We trust the Divine to provide us with the wisdom to make the right decision under any circumstances we encounter. When people, events or conditions challenge us we oftentimes begin to doubt ourselves. This is the time when we find it so difficult to cultivate that trust in our hearts. But this is also an inevitable moment that we are called upon to activate our trust in the Divine. To trust is not an easy task unless we begin to see the manifestation of the Divine Power through those negative circumstances.

In difficult moments, rely on what your heart tells you is true. Listen to your intuition, the turn of events is telling you something that is important in the realization of your dreams. Not all negative circumstances are against us. You only perceive it to be simply because you have not seen the proof that the Universe is manifesting Its Divine Power in order to give way to the accomplishment of your goal. In my previous employment, I asked God through Manifesting Desire Process to grant me the promotion that I’d been longing for because I thought I deserved it. There was no available organizational structure that would accommodate the position that I was eyeing for, so some of my friends thought it was impossible for me to get a promotion unless my boss resigns or retires after 10 years, so that I could be at least, nominated to replace him. Finding that trust in my heart that God would grant my heart’s desire was not easy given the real situation. But desire is desire, if it’s something that you truly want to happen in your life, no matter what you would never let your thoughts escape your mind and your heart lose that burning desire, almost everyday and every moment of your life. I never stopped trusting God believing that I would get what I wanted to have in my life for the greater good of all. Until one day, after several months, the CEO ordered a spin off in some of the divisions and ours was included. But it didn’t happen so easily. My boss didn’t like the idea so he protested and used all his political influence (I mean- office politics) to put off the revamp. I didn’t know what was transpiring then, as I had no access to the CEO office. Until one day, I received the news that the plan to spin off our division would no longer push through. Saddened by the turn of events, I planned to resign.

I got affected by the negative circumstances and I must admit, I went through a terrible depression for a certain period of time. I knew and I was confident that I could keep my faith in God forever, but my trust in God that he would grant my prayer, I didn’t think so, I had a second thought. It was really difficult to hold on to your trust in those difficult situation. It was my life and the life of my family that I was trying to claim. My promotion would absolutely augment my income and would give us at least, a comfortable living condition. I did all my part, but to no avail. But after some time, my sanity came back and I was able to accept what had happened. I did a self-evaluation of my faith and trust in the Divine Power. Upon realizing my mistakes, I renewed my commitment to my prayer and my trust in God. Only then that I became aware of the manifestation of the Divine Power through the people in the organization that put the revamp on hold. They were part of the big drama in order to give way to my promotion. Of course they would never become aware of this truth unless they seek the truth. To cut the story short, the revamp pushed through until I got my promotion. Again, trusting is not an easy task under difficult situation, but because trust is an essential factor in the Manifestation of your Desire, you have no choice but to keep it, secure it and hold on to it tightly.

Other than faith, the other ingredient of Manifesting Desire Process is our trust in the Divine Power of the Universe. When we trust the Universe, we must also put our trust on It. There is a difference between trusting and putting our trust. Trusting the Universe is knowing that the Universe is true to Its promises, that it will never fail us. Putting our trust in the Universe is expecting God to do Its part, without fail. Manifesting Desire Process is a team effort. It cannot stand alone. It cannot survive without the support of each other. Remember that in Manifesting Desire Process, two things are happening. One, we do all the things that we deemed necessary to make what we desire manifest in our reality. This is living our faith and putting it in action. Two, our trust in God will manifest by providing us all the help that we need such as ideas, people, events, financial resources, gift of time, health, personal strength. And we shall work wholeheartedly to ensure that we will accomplish our task on the physical level. But we do not only do physical work, we also do a lot of spiritual work. And spiritually, our constant trust in the Divine Power that our desire will finally manifest will complete the work of the Universe in time.
